Art has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up in a musical household, I first found my creative expression through gymnastics. I was handpicked by Béla Károlyi as a potential Olympic athlete, but after struggling with back issues, I transitioned to dance. This shift led me to win several national titles and earn a college scholarship, where I majored in dance. However, I eventually put my artistic aspirations on hold to focus on raising my children.

When my youngest son, Gavin, was just 7 years old, he begged me to help him become an actor. With no prior experience in the entertainment industry, I took a leap of faith and signed him up with a modeling agency. Once I saw his natural talent shine, I fully immersed myself in learning everything I could to support his journey. Before long, he was booking roles back-to-back, working alongside renowned actors like Ryan Gosling, Sean Astin, Meghann Fahy, Zachary Levi, David Spade and more.

Through this journey, we gained invaluable insight into the acting industry—the do’s, the don’ts, and the many lessons in between. As word spread about my son’s success, other parents began reaching out, asking for guidance on how to get their own children started in the business. Soon, I found myself regularly helping families navigate the industry, offering advice and support based on our firsthand experiences.

As a child, I once dreamed of becoming a “movie star” myself. My parents enrolled me in acting classes, but I quickly realized that my shyness held me back. While acting wasn’t my calling, that experience gave me a deep understanding of how intimidating this industry can be. Today, I use that understanding to guide aspiring young actors with patience, empathy, and the knowledge I’ve gained through this incredible journey.

With an unyielding work ethic and a passion for excellence, Bboy Venum has solidified his status as both a stage and screen sensation, proving that success is the result of dedication and perseverance.

With 29 years of experience, he has traveled the world as a competitor, judge, and instructor, inspiring dancers of all ages and skill levels. Now, after years in the spotlight, he has transitioned into mentoring and coaching, committed to helping young talent break into the industry. By sharing invaluable insights on standing out, perfecting their craft, and acing auditions, his mission is to equip the next generation with the skills, confidence, and industry knowledge needed to thrive in the entertainment world.
